Marcia Clifford – Founder & Owner

With over 30 years of experience in accounting, Marcia has worked across public sectors, large corporations, startups and small businesses. Marcia began her professional journey as a bank teller in high school and has since gained extensive experience in roles such as Internal Auditor, Account Manager, Controller, Human Resources Manager and Franchise Owner. She finds a great sense of satisfaction in supporting entrepreneurs, small business owners and CEOs by managing their accounting needs which allows them the ability to focus on growing their own businesses.

Marcia holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University (formerly New Hampshire College) and an MBA from Suffolk University. She truly enjoys meeting new people and building long-term relationships. Marcia looks forward to partnering with you and helping your business thrive.

Meghan Machado – Accountant

Meghan brings a unique blend of creativity, precision and dedication to her role at Pleasant Street Accounting. After spending five years as a full-time mom, she reentered the professional world with a fresh perspective and a strong work ethic. Before joining the team, Meghan built a diverse career foundation where she developed a keen eye for detail and a knack for numbers. Her varied background gives her a well-rounded approach to problem-solving and client support.

Ann Brown – Accounting and IT Specialist

Ann helps manage PSA’s Marketing, Special Projects and IT/Security. Ann graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s degree in English and later obtained her MLA. Ann’s passion for helping small businesses grow has always been strong.

Val Santos – Accountant

Val brings his expertise and skills to our Portuguese & English speaking clients. With him, we have been able to expand our business at an international level.

Jenn Hearon – Operations and Experience Director

Jenn brings her passion for organization and team development to Pleasant Street Accounting. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Old Dominion University and has supported small businesses and their growth for over 12 years. With a strong background in operations management and customer relations, she ensures our clients and team members experience seamless service and exceptional support. Jenn is dedicated to streamlining our processes and creating a welcoming environment for both clients and staff, helping the firm run smoothly and efficiently.
